Purchased from ebay and picked up from Durridge, UK on the 15th November 2024.
The keyboard for the VT510 is the standard LK411-AA. The enter key was broken off may be in transit, however, I have glued the key cap back on so it looks estectically complete and will just have to avoid using the key as it does stick a bit. If anyone has a broken keyboard and willing to part with a key then let me know!!
The VT510 only has one connection port, hence one session unlike the VT520 which has dual ports and can use multi sessions.
All plugged in and enter F3 set-up brings up the set-up menus on screen. All looks good but the serial port was not tested. The airing grill on top of the display case has a split which I will glue back which should not be a problem.
The keyboard for the Data General 6501 is a solid hefty thing. Brown and grey keys p/n 6348-B, made in Japan. Unfortunately the Esc key has broken off which has been glued into place and is working well.
The disply unit p/n D412 looks to have a missing bezel and not sure if this is a facing screen or just a surround. On plugging in the display unit, attaching the keyboard, you get a beep but nothing is seen on screen. Some more investigation is required!
